Man arrested after stabbing in Warwick

WARWICK, RI — Two people were stabbed during a domestic disturbance on Ottawa Avenue on April 13.

Warwick Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:24 p.m. reporting a disturbance.

Officers found two victims suffering from stab wounds and a suspect still at the scene.

The suspect, identified as Caleb Brown, 29, of Warwick, was taken into custody without incident.

A female victim sustained a stab wound to the abdomen.

A male victim sustained a stab wound to the neck.

Officers rendered life-saving aid to the victims while awaiting Warwick Fire personnel.

The preliminary investigation indicates the incident stems from an ongoing domestic situation.

Multiple crime scenes are being processed and witnesses are being interviewed.

Criminal charges are pending further investigation.
