NEW CASTLE, PA — A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges including strangulation, simple assault and theft.
Ramirez M. Williams, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody by the New Castle Police Department on April 9.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Jan. 30 at 907 N Liberty St.
Williams faces charges of strangulation, simple assault, harassment, theft and corruption of minors.
A criminal warrant was issued on April 7 by Honorable Melissa A. Amodie.
Police said the case was withdrawn and refiled after new evidence was located.
Williams is being held by the New Castle Police Department under docket number CR171-2026.
