SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area Thursday afternoon.
The Springettsbury Township Police Department was dispatched to a wooded area south of Mt. Zion Road at approximately 2:31 p.m. April 10, 2026, for a report of a deceased person.
Officers located one deceased person on the ground inside the small wooded area upon arrival.
The body was recovered and transported to the York County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy is being scheduled, and the investigation remains ongoing.
