Man arrested on warrant in Hanover Township

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested a New Jersey man wanted on warrants during a service at a residence on First Street.

William John Fox IV, 43, of New Jersey, was apprehended by the Hanover Township Police Department on April 9, 2026, at 7:54 p.m.

Fox had been wanted since 2022 by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department.

Police found Fox hiding inside the home and took him into custody without incident.

He was turned over to the Kingston Police Department for processing on additional charges.

Fox was later lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
