WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Providence man was arrested on weapons charges following a traffic stop on Nooseneck Hill Road.
Darniel Polanco-Cortorreal, 22, of Providence, was taken into custody at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday and charged with license/permit to carry concealed pistol or revolver and six counts of large capacity feeding devices prohibited.
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held pending arraignment as a bail violator.
In a separate incident, Andrew D. Hall, 32, of Richmond, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Thursday following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in West Greenwich.
Hall was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance under 10 grams (Adderall).
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.
Ryan Flanagan, 39, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Route 95 in Richmond.
Flanagan was charged with DUI of liquor and/or drugs, BAC unknown, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Fourth Division District Court arraignment date.
