SPRINGFIELD, MA — A 19-year-old man was arrested this morning on kidnapping and domestic assault charges stemming from an incident in East Longmeadow.
Ezier Santiago, of Springfield, was taken into custody at approximately 11:25 a.m. by members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section on an arrest warrant obtained by the East Longmeadow Police Department.
Santiago faces charges of kidnapping and assault and battery on a family or household member.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred in East Longmeadow on April 7.
Santiago was booked and transported to court for arraignment this afternoon.
The East Longmeadow Police Department was assisted by the Massachusetts State Police, Longmeadow Police Department and Westcomm Regional Dispatch.
