RED HOOK, NY — A Hudson man was arrested April 8, 2026, following an investigation into a domestic incident involving a juvenile.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Rhinebeck were notified April 1, 2026, of a past physical domestic incident at a private residence in the town of Red Hook.
An investigation determined that Zackariah J. Jackson, 35, of Hudson, became involved in a physical domestic dispute with a juvenile.
During the incident, the juvenile sustained a laceration to the lip.
The dispute escalated to the ground, where Jackson applied pressure to the juvenile’s neck with his forearms, obstructing their breathing.
Jackson was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of criminal obstruction of breathing.
He was arraigned in the Town of Red Hook Court and released on his own recognizance.
Jackson is scheduled to return to court April 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
