WELLS, VT — A 74-year-old man was arrested on a domestic assault charge following an incident at a residence on April 9, 2026.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a domestic call at approximately 6:48 a.m.
Through investigation, troopers determined that Peter N. Rubino, of Wells, caused pain to a family member, according to police.
Rubino was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks and later brought to Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division for arraignment.
