Multiple arrests made on theft charges in Lebanon

LEBANON, NH — Police have arrested six people in connection with retail theft incidents in West Lebanon over a two-week period.

On March 31, officers arrested Jeremy Maxwell Raymond Jr., 35, of Claremont, following a theft at Target on South Main Street.

Loss prevention personnel reported that Raymond was observed removing security tags from merchandise.

He was found to be in possession of additional concealed items and was released on $500 cash bail.

Raymond is scheduled to appear in Lebanon District Court on June 1 at 8:30 a.m.

On April 4, officers arrested Jeremy Fischer, 33, of White River Junction, following a theft at Walmart.

Fischer was observed removing a tag from merchandise and was found to be in possession of stolen items.

He was charged with felony theft due to prior theft convictions and released on bail.

Fischer is scheduled to appear in Lebanon District Court on June 1.

Also on April 4, officers arrested Dalton Harrington, 33, of Chelsea, after he was observed concealing merchandise at Dollar Tree.

Harrington was also found to have an active warrant and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

He was charged with felony theft due to prior theft convictions and was held on bail.

A second individual, Corey Hale, 37, with no current address, was arrested in connection with the same incident.

Hale was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and falsifying physical evidence after allegedly attempting to conceal evidence.

He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Lebanon District Court on June 1.

On April 7, officers arrested Albert Wood, 41, with no current address, in connection with two felony thefts from Best Buy on March 12 and April 4.

Wood admitted to the thefts and was found to have committed the offenses while subject to bail conditions.

He was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections on preventative detention, pending arraignment on April 8.

Wood faces two felony theft charges, as well as charges of disorderly conduct and breach of bail.

Also on April 7, officers arrested Shawn Rich, 47, of St. Johnsbury, following a theft at Kohl’s.

Rich was found in possession of stolen merchandise and was charged with felony theft due to prior theft convictions.

He was held on bail, pending arraignment on April 8.
