LINCOLN, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on multiple fraud-related charges following a barracks investigation.
Troopers arrested Iliandro Freitas, 19, of Pawtucket, at 9 a.m. April 7, 2026, for conspiracy, forgery and counterfeiting, obtaining property by false pretenses over $1,500 and check kiting.
Freitas was arraigned at the Sixth Division District Court and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
In a separate incident, Brandon Reyes, 25, of Cranston, was arrested at 9 p.m. April 7, 2026, for reckless driving and other offenses against public safety – first offense.
The arrest followed a barracks investigation and Reyes surrendering himself to the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Reyes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future court date at the Sixth Division District Court.
At 10:57 p.m. April 7, 2026, troopers arrested Zackary W. Karnley, 19, of Providence, for obstructing an officer in execution of duty.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in Providence.
Karnley was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment as a bail violator at the Sixth Division District Court.
At 1:55 a.m. April 8, 2026, Trooper Doherty arrested Jena N. Jones McSwain, 30, of Providence, for driving after suspension of license certain violations – first offense.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Exchange Terrace in Providence.
Jones McSwain was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future court date at the Sixth Division District Court.
At 3:27 a.m. April 8, 2026, troopers arrested Patricia Lee M. McCaughey, 46, of Pawtucket, on a Providence County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for determination of attorney on the charge of domestic violation of a no contact order – third or subsequent offense originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest resulted from an investigation into a motor vehicle crash on Route 95 in Providence.
McCaughey was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.
