STROUD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are seeking two men in connection with a retail theft at a Best Buy store on March 31.
The Stroud Area Regional Police responded to the Best Buy at 135 Radio Drive at approximately 11:50 a.m. for a report of retail theft.
Two males entered the store and walked through the aisles, removing electronic merchandise from the shelves, according to police.
The first suspect, wearing a black jacket with a white shirt, black pants and black sneakers, used a “Spider S3 Handkey” to disable security tags on the devices, police said.
The second suspect was wearing a black puffer jacket and a black beanie with writing on the front.
The items were concealed on their persons, and the suspects were seen entering the bathroom, police said.
The suspects exited the bathroom with the concealed merchandise and left the store without paying.
The suspects were seen entering a gray Honda with New Jersey registration G78WBR and leaving the area.
After leaving the store, the suspects drove to two additional Best Buy stores in Bethlehem and Whitehall, but were unable to obtain any merchandise at those locations, according to police.
