PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl reported missing from the 500 block of South Main Street.
Bella Caceres was reported missing to the Phillipsburg Police Department, which immediately began an investigation.
Officers and detectives have been following leads regarding her possible whereabouts and coordinating with outside law enforcement agencies.
Police said there is no indication the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious, but the investigation remains active and ongoing.
Information developed during the investigation indicates she is believed to be in the New York City area.
Caceres is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
