BUFFALO, NY — Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Elias E. Cook, 23, of Buffalo, for unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and several vehicle and traffic tickets.
On April 4, 2026, at 4:26 p.m., troopers on patrol on State Route 33 in the city of Buffalo as part of a cooperative speed initiative with Buffalo Police Department observed a 2015 Dodge Charger without license plates.
Troopers activated emergency lights, and the Charger attempted to flee at a high rate of speed.
The suspect vehicle exited on State Route 198 and got stuck in traffic.
Troopers arrested Cook without incident.
Cook was transported to SP Buffalo and processed and released with an appearance ticket to the City of Buffalo Court for April 22, 2026.
