SHAFTESBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on multiple domestic assault charges following a walk-in report at the barracks.
On Feb. 18, 2026, at approximately 9:48 a.m., police responded to a report regarding prior domestic issues that allegedly occurred over the course of several years in the Forrest Heights area.
Following an investigation, Seth L. Stratton, 45, of Pawlet, was arrested on three counts of domestic assault.
Stratton was transported to the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks and released on conditions with a citation to appear in Bennington County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on April 7, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
