UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Carlisle man has been arrested after police say he repeatedly approached homes and peered into windows during nighttime hours.
Chase Brandt, 23, of Carlisle, was charged with loitering and prowling at night time following an investigation by the Upper Allen Township Police Department.
Police received multiple complaints in November and December regarding a suspicious individual who was knocking on residential doors and asking homeowners about their security cameras.
The incidents occurred in the Mt. Allen Heights and Reservoir Hill neighborhoods.
Following an investigation, officers identified Brandt as the individual.
Police learned that Brandt had entered the property of one victim on several occasions during nighttime hours, where he approached a bedroom window to look inside.
Brandt later surrendered himself to the Cumberland County Prison.
On April 2, Brandt appeared for his preliminary hearing and pleaded guilty to a lesser offense.
