SCHENECTADY, NY — A 21-year-old man was arrested after leading state police on a pursuit that ended in a crash on March 28, 2026.
State Police of Princetown attempted to stop a vehicle on Broadway at about 4:09 a.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
The driver, identified as David Singh of Schenectady, failed to comply, and a pursuit was initiated.
Singh continued to operate his vehicle recklessly and struck another passenger vehicle at the intersection of McClelland Street and Union Street.
The driver and passenger in that vehicle were not injured.
The pursuit continued and eventually ended when Singh lost control of the vehicle, striking multiple trees and becoming disabled in the area of Rugby Road.
He was arrested for unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree and driving while intoxicated.
Singh was transported to State Police Latham for processing where he refused to provide a sample to determine the alcohol content of his blood.
Further investigation determined Singh has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years.
Following processing, Singh was transported to the Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.

BERNE, NY — A 61-year-old man was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge on March 28, 2026.
State Police of New Scotland stopped a vehicle on Turner Road at about 1:27 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
The driver was identified as William R. Moons of East Berne.
Moons was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
He was transported to State Police New Scotland for processing where he recorded a 0.23% BAC.
Moons was issued tickets returnable to the Berne Town Court on April 14, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
Woman arrested on DWI charge in Queensbury

QUEENSBURY, NY — A 33-year-old woman was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge on March 30, 2026.
State Police of Queensbury responded to the area of State Route 9 at about 9:02 p.m. for the report of a vehicle operating erratically and striking a curb.
Troopers located the running vehicle matching the caller’s description stopped in the area and approached it due to a vehicle and traffic law violation.
The driver was identified as Faith S. Johnson of Diamond Point.
Johnson was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
She was transported to State Police Queensbury for processing where she recorded a 0.20% BAC.
Johnson was issued tickets returnable to the Queensbury Town Court on April 13, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
Man arrested on DWI charge in Fultonville

FULTONVILLE, NY — A 30-year-old man was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge on March 31, 2026.
State Police of Fonda stopped a vehicle in the area of Main Street at about 11:25 p.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
The driver was identified as Jacub M. Bramer of Johnstown.
Bramer was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
He was transported to State Police Mayfield for processing where he recorded a 0.13% BAC.
Further investigation discovered Bramer has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years.
Bramer was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Mohawk Town Court on April 15, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
