GROTON, CT — Police are seeking to identify two suspects in an assault and attempted robbery that left two people stabbed Saturday afternoon.
The Groton Emergency Communications Center received an emergency 911 call at approximately 2:30 p.m. April 4, 2026, from a male employee reporting two men had entered Accessory Warehouse located at 375 Route 12 and attempted to rob him.
Another employee and customers attempted to intervene, according to police.
The caller reported one of the male suspects had a long knife and he believed he had been stabbed.
Both male suspects fled on foot and are believed to have left the area in a vehicle, police said.
Responding officers arrived on scene and identified two victims who had been stabbed and slashed during the attempted robbery.
Police are attempting to identify persons of interest in the case.
