WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested on multiple drug charges early Wednesday morning after police observed an alleged drug transaction.
At approximately 12:40 a.m., Worcester Police officers observed a male engage in a drug transaction with a female in the area of Main Street and Oread Place.
Officers approached the female who handed them a knotted bag with a hard white substance suspected to be crack cocaine.
She was charged with possession of Class B (crack cocaine).
Officers quickly located the male on King Street.
A search of his person recovered four knotted bags of crack cocaine and three knotted bags of fentanyl.
Dangelo Aponte, 25, of Worcester, was placed under arrest and charged with distribution of a Class B substance (crack cocaine), possession with intent to distribute Class B (crack cocaine), and possession with intent to distribute Class A (fentanyl).
