WOODBURY, CT — Police are seeking information about a vehicle that struck a mailbox and fled the scene on Middle Road Turnpike.
At approximately 8 a.m. April 4, Officer Mark Defeo discovered a mailbox that had been struck and left in the roadway on Middle Road Turnpike.
The vehicle involved fled the scene prior to police arrival.
During the investigation, Defeo located and recovered a vehicle part identified as a passenger-side mirror cover.
The recovered part is finished in Billet Silver Metallic.
The part is specific to Mopar vehicles and most likely originated from a Jeep Cherokee from 2014 to 2022, a Jeep Grand Cherokee from 2011 to 2021, a Dodge Durango from 2011 to present, or a RAM pickup truck.
The vehicle involved will be missing its passenger-side mirror housing and may have additional damage to the front or side.
Anyone with information regarding a silver Jeep, Dodge or RAM vehicle with recent passenger-side mirror damage is asked to contact Defeo at the Woodbury Police Department.
