SHEFFIELD, VT — A Massachusetts man was cited for excessive speed on Interstate 91 North on April 4, 2026.
Troopers observed a vehicle traveling northbound near mile marker 153 at 104 mph at approximately 6:47 p.m.
The posted speed limit is 65 mph.
A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Ian L. Cooke, 29, of Somerville, Massachusetts.
Cooke was cited for excessive speed and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Caledonia Criminal Division on June 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
