SHEFFIELD, VT — A Massachusetts man was cited for excessive speed on Interstate 91 North on April 4, 2026.
At approximately 7:45 p.m., troopers observed a vehicle traveling northbound near mile marker 153 at a speed of 101 mph.
The posted speed limit in that area is 65 mph.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the operator of the vehicle was identified as Mathew R. Lucido, 26, of Somerville, Massachusetts.
Lucido was cited for excessive speed and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Caledonia Criminal Division on June 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
