BATH, NY — A man was arrested after allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in public on March 30, 2026.
Members of the Village of Bath Police Department were dispatched to the area of West William Street and Liberty Street at approximately 8:50 a.m. for a report of a nude male following a female victim.
Officers located the suspect, who was known to the victim, walking on Exchange Street.
The male, identified as Randy N. Burdick, 46, of Bath, was observed clothed in a bath robe running into his residence in an attempt to evade law enforcement.
Investigation revealed that Burdick had exposed his private parts to the victim and proceeded to masturbate in public.
Burdick was taken into custody at his residence without incident.
Burdick was charged with one count of public lewdness, a Class B misdemeanor.
Burdick was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment.
Burdick has been arrested in the past by Bath police for exposing his private parts in public.
