CAMBRIA, NY — A Youngstown man faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing from deputies on a stolen motorcycle April 3.
Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle on Ridge Road at Church Road at approximately 7:14 p.m.
The operator failed to comply and fled, resulting in a brief pursuit.
The pursuit ended in the area of Artpark State Park, where the operator abandoned the motorcycle and fled on foot.
A State Police K-9 tracked the suspect to where he was taken into custody.
Garrett C. Tong, 20, of Youngstown, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, obstruction in the second degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer and resisting arrest.
Tong was also issued numerous traffic tickets as a result of the pursuit.
