PARKESBURG, PA — A 28-year-old man was arrested on flight to avoid apprehension and related offenses following a traffic stop March 19.
Police conducted a lawful traffic stop in the 400 block of West First Avenue.
Darian M. George, of Pennsylvania, fled from officers on foot.
He was apprehended near the Parkesburg Train Station.
Police determined George was wanted out of Texas on felony charges related to assaulting a law enforcement officer.
A preliminary hearing regarding these charges will be scheduled at District Court 15-3-07.
