EAST STROUDSBURG, PA — Police are seeking a man accused of driving under the influence with two young children in his vehicle during a head-on crash in 2023.
Bryan D. Alvarado-Rojas, 34, of Pennsylvania, has an active arrest warrant issued July 18, 2023, by Magisterial District Judge Wolbert.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Rosemond Avenue and Church Street on June 16, 2023.
Alvarado-Rojas struck another vehicle head-on while driving with his 9-year-old and 11-month-old children in the vehicle, according to Stroud Area Regional Police.
Officers reported Alvarado-Rojas smelled of alcohol and admitted to consuming alcohol.
He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and showed multiple signs of impairment, police said.
Alvarado-Rojas was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and refused to consent to blood tests.
He is charged with one count of driving under the influence and two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
Police have attempted to contact Alvarado-Rojas multiple times, but he has failed to respond.
