Three arrested on drug charges in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY — New York State Police arrested three people on drug charges following a narcotics investigation that concluded April 2, 2026.

The State Police Troop D Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a North Salina Street residence.

Police seized 414 grams of fentanyl, 33.7 grams of crack cocaine, plastic sandwich bags used for narcotics packaging, two digital scales with cocaine residue and a collapsible baton.

Moises A. Navarro-Pizarro, 34, of Syracuse, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony.

Yadiel Pizarro, 32, of Syracuse, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Irma A. Pizarro, 60, of Syracuse, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

All three were arraigned at Syracuse City CAP Court and released on their own recognizance.
