VERNON, CT — Three people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery in the Rockville section of town.
The Vernon Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting an armed robbery involving a firearm at approximately 1:15 p.m. on April 2, 2026.
The victim provided officers with a description of the suspect vehicle, which was located by responding officers on Hartford Turnpike near West Street.
Officers conducted a felony motor vehicle stop, during which all three occupants complied with commands and were taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, officers recovered a 9mm privately manufactured handgun, commonly referred to as a “ghost gun,” from one of the suspects.
A second ghost gun was located inside the vehicle, along with a large knife, drug paraphernalia and the stolen money.
Both firearms were equipped with illegal high-capacity magazines.
Nicole Alano, 18, of Hartford, Connecticut, and Kamron McQueen, 17, of Hartford, Connecticut, were arrested in connection with the incident.
A male juvenile was also arrested.
All three were charged and are expected to appear in court.
