NEW PALTZ, NY — A traffic stop led to drug charges for a Ravena man on March 31, 2026.
New Paltz police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main Street for a traffic infraction.
The driver, Kevin P. Hurley, 45, of Ravena, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
Further investigation revealed Hurley was in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.
He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.
Hurley was released on an appearance ticket and is due to appear in New Paltz Town Court at a later date.
