NEW LONDON, CT — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a February shooting on Connecticut Avenue.
Taquez Scott, 22, of no certain address, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder, reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm, illegal possession of an assault weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
The charges stem from a shooting incident that occurred on Feb. 15 in the area of Connecticut Avenue between Prest Street and MacDonald Street.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:19 p.m. that evening.
