HARTFORD, CT — Members of the Hartford Police Narcotics Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a Park Street residence on March 27, 2026.
Officers determined during their investigation that a convicted felon was in possession of a firearm at the residence.
The Emergency Response Team assisted in executing the warrant safely.
One individual was taken into custody without incident.
Juan Barines, 43, of Hartford, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm and theft of a firearm.
Police seized a Kimber .45 caliber handgun that was confirmed stolen out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
