SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A 62-year-old woman was arrested on an active warrant stemming from a domestic violence incident earlier this year.

Sandra L. Wilkos, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said Wilkos caused minor physical injury to a victim during a January argument.

She also took the victim’s glasses and threw them at him during the incident, according to police.

Wilkos was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

She was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Thursday.

In a separate incident, police arrested a 25-year-old man on charges related to an attempted burglary from 2022.

Roger J. Czupryna, of East Longmeadow, turned himself in at police headquarters at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The charges stem from a November 2022 incident in which officers responded to a Main Street address for reports of an attempted burglary.

Suspects attempted to steal a four-wheeler and a dirt bike from a shed, police said.

The homeowner was alerted to the attempted theft by security cameras.

Officers arriving at the scene interrupted the attempt and three suspects fled into the woods, according to police.

The suspects left behind physical evidence, including items in a vehicle near the scene.

Czupryna was identified through that evidence and an arrest warrant was sought.

He was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond for the burglary and larceny charges and a $2,500 non-surety bond for a separate failure to appear warrant.

Czupryna is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on April 15 for the burglary and larceny charges and in Hartford Superior Court on April 17 for the failure to appear warrant.
