BROOMALL, PA — Three men were arrested after a vehicle reversed into a marked patrol car in a Home Depot parking lot Tuesday afternoon.
Marple Police Officers located a vehicle belonging to a wanted individual in the parking lot of the Home Depot at 700 Reed Road at 4:41 p.m.
Officers established surveillance of the vehicle and within a short period of time, three males were observed entering the vehicle.
Officers attempted to box the vehicle in; however, the vehicle reversed into one of the marked patrol vehicles.
When the vehicle stopped, officers approached and detained two males inside the vehicle, while the third male fled on foot.
Officers pursued the male through the parking lot, across Reed Road, and a short distance into the wooded area, before taking the suspect into custody.
One of those arrested was identified as Brian Joseph Lashley, 36, of Pennsylvania.
Lashley was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, evading arrest or detention on foot and conspiracy.
All three were arraigned and subsequently transported to Delaware County Prison after failing to post bail.
