OWEGO, NY — A Texas man was arrested following a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Owego on March 16, 2026.
Genaro Morales-Rangel of El Paso, Texas, was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, according to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigation determined that Morales-Rangel had been operating his motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Morales-Rangel was issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Owego Court at a later date.
