JAMESTOWN, NY — Police arrested a man Tuesday morning after he refused to leave a downtown business and became combative with officers.
Officers from the Jamestown Police First Platoon responded to the business at 10:16 a.m. for a report of an unwanted male.
Police determined that Richard A. Goodman 3rd was refusing to leave and screaming in the lobby.
Officers attempted to escort Goodman off the property.
Goodman became combative at that point, according to police.
After a brief struggle, Goodman was placed into custody without further incident.
He is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Goodman is being held pending arraignment.
