TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY — Police executed search warrants at two smoke shops suspected of illegally selling cannabis products without proper licensing on March 31, 2026.
Officers seized a large quantity of suspected illicit cannabis and concentrated cannabis at Mr. Greensfield Smoke Shop at 532 Niagara Falls Blvd.
A quantity of suspected illicit cannabis was also seized at Sweet Puffs Smoke Shop at 3815 Delaware Ave.
The New York State Office of Cannabis Management issued orders to seal both businesses and shut them down pending hearings.
The Town of Tonawanda Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau conducted the investigations in conjunction with the New York State Office of Cannabis Management based on information received from the public.
