PENN YAN, NY — A woman wanted on a bench warrant turned herself in to police Tuesday.
Cynthia M. Cross, 63, of Barton, surrendered to Penn Yan Police on an active warrant issued by Penn Yan Village Court for failure to appear.
Cross had previously been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, unlicensed operator, improper turn signal and failure to keep right.
She failed to appear in court, prompting the warrant.
Cross was processed and transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
