ARLINGTON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on suspicion of DUI and resisting arrest following a reported fight at a convenience store March 30, 2026.
Troopers from the Shaftsbury Barracks responded to Stewart’s at 11:30 p.m. after employees reported a large altercation involving multiple intoxicated males.
An investigation led to the arrest of Leroy E. Bellows, 45, of Arlington, on Vermont Route 313 West.
Bellows was transported to the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, on April 20, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
