WALTHAM, VT — Vermont State Police cited a driver for excessive speed on US Route 7 on March 30, 2026.
Troopers were patrolling the highway at 7:15 p.m. when they observed a vehicle traveling southbound at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was clocked at 83 mph in a posted 50 mph zone.
The vehicle was stopped without incident.
The operator was identified as Levi Davis, 41, of Pittsford.
Davis was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Addison Criminal Division on June 1, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
