Bomb threat reported at high school in Willingboro

WILLINGBORO, NJ — Officers from the Willingboro Township Police Department responded to Willingboro High School following a reported bomb threat at approximately 7 a.m. on March 31, 2026.

The school was immediately placed on lockdown and students and staff were diverted to a safe location in accordance with New Jersey State Police safety guidelines.

K-9 units from the City of Burlington Police Department and Cherry Hill Police Department responded to the scene and conducted a thorough sweep of the school.

Officers also reviewed school surveillance footage as part of the investigation.

The threat was determined to be unfounded, and there is no credible threat to students or staff.

The Willingboro Township Police Department is actively investigating this incident.
