Woman arrested on assault charge in Boonville

BOONVILLE, NY — A woman was arrested on assault and weapon possession charges following a dispute in the village last week.

Erica Croniser, 36, of Boonville, was arrested March 29, 2026, and charged with assault in the third degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.

A patrol deputy assigned to the Barneveld Field Office was dispatched by the 911 Center on March 26, 2026, for a dispute at 120 Church St. in the village.

Investigation verified that a dispute occurred and an individual received minor lacerations from a sharp object during the incident.

Croniser was issued appearance tickets returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.

The New York State Police assisted the Sheriff’s Office.
