HADDON, NJ — Fire crews responded to two separate fires yesterday evening in what officials described as a challenging dual response.
Crews from Haddon Fire Company No. 1 were initially dispatched to an apartment fire on Kings Highway.
While units were responding to that incident, Camden County dispatched crews to a second fire at a garage on Marquis Road.
Engine 14 responded to the Kings Highway apartment fire while Ladder 14 and Squad 14 were diverted to the garage fire across town.
Mutual aid companies assisted in battling both blazes.
Both fires were extinguished with no injuries reported.
