WELLS RIVER, VT — A woman was arrested as a fugitive from justice on March 27 after fleeing from New Hampshire into Vermont.
Officers from the Haverhill, New Hampshire, Police Department requested assistance from the Vermont State Police at 6:53 p.m. with locating a suspect who was involved in an incident in Haverhill and then fled into Vermont.
The suspect, identified as Christina Garrison, 37, of no fixed address, was located by Vermont State Troopers on Main Street in Wells River.
Troopers took Garrison into custody as a fugitive from justice on New Hampshire criminal charges in addition to several active Vermont arrest warrants.
Additional Vermont charges are expected as the investigation continues.
