VERONA, PA — Two men were arrested following a physical altercation in a convenience store parking lot Thursday night.
Verona Police Department officers responded to the GetGo at 800 Allegheny River Blvd at approximately 7:45 p.m. after receiving reports of two males fighting in the parking lot.
Officers identified the individuals involved as a 19-year-old man from McKeesport and a 23-year-old man from Pittsburgh.
Police determined that during the fight, one of the men struck the other in the head with a tire rim.
Both individuals sustained injuries and were treated by medics at the scene.
The men were taken into police custody and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
Both face assault-related charges.
