Multiple arrests made at steel plant in Plymouth Township

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — Police have arrested multiple people for breaking into the Cleveland Cliffs Steel plant property to steal metal for scrap.

The Plymouth Township Police Department said offenders gained access to the property at 900 Conshohocken Road by cutting locks on gates and cutting exterior perimeter fences.

Michael Anthony Kropilak, of Philadelphia, was arrested March 19, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Robert Bruce Hoffman, of Collegeville, was arrested Feb. 27, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Douglass John McCann, of Norristown, was arrested Feb. 12, 2026, and charged with criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Daniel Dutton, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, was arrested Feb. 11, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Jason Lombardi, of Palmyra, New Jersey, was arrested Feb. 11, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Philip Sulima, of Harleysville, was arrested Feb. 11, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Alberto Boscana, of Philadelphia, was arrested Jan. 20, 2026, and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Brian Mainart, of Jeffersonville, has an active arrest warrant and is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses.

Kevin O’Brien, of Plymouth Meeting, was arrested Jan. 11, 2026, and charged with defiant trespass.

The Criminal Investigations Division continues to pursue active investigative leads on additional suspects who have engaged in burglary, criminal trespass, and theft activity on the steel plant property.

Police said the Cleveland Cliffs Steel property is not public property and is secured by locked perimeter fencing and on-duty security staff.
