Three arrested on warrants, one on DUI charge in Lincoln Woods

LINCOLN WOODS, RI — State Police made four arrests over a 13-hour period, including three on outstanding warrants and one on a DUI charge.

At 1:20 p.m., troopers arrested Carmine Giarrusso III, 63, of Johnston, for domestic violence – criminal violation of no contact order – first offense.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Giarrusso turning himself in to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for afternoon arraignment.

At 9:40 p.m., troopers arrested Myleke Stokes, 19, of Boston, Massachusetts, on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Providence Police Department for domestic strangulation.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Pawtucket.

Stokes was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 11:25 p.m., troopers arrested Angel Arias, 48, of Cranston, on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Cranston Police Department for domestic disorderly conduct.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Smith Street in Cranston.

Arias was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Cranston Police Department.

At 2:25 a.m., troopers arrested Esdras Miranda, 44, of Riverside, for driving under the influence of liquor – B.A.C. unknown – first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test – first offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in Providence.

Miranda was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and issued a future Sixth Division District Court date.
