BRUTUS, NY — A 57-year-old man was arrested on a menacing charge following a domestic incident.
Joseph T. Kwasniak, of Brutus, was arrested March 25 at 11:42 p.m. by deputies from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a domestic incident in the town at approximately 10:03 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim and the defendant and learned that Kwasniak had placed the victim in a corner and raised a closed fist while threatening physical harm.
Kwasniak was arrested at the scene and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing and centralized arraignment.
He was released on his own recognizance to appear in Brutus Town Court on April 7 at 7:00 p.m.
