SCHODACK, NY — State Police arrested a 58-year-old man on child sexual exploitation charges March 25, 2026.
Nicholas J. Lamora, of East Greenbush, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class D felony, and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.
State Police of Schodack made the arrest with assistance from the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the East Greenbush Police Department.
Lamora is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Police executed a search warrant at Lamora’s residence in East Greenbush on March 26, 2026.
Lamora was processed at State Police Schodack.
He was arraigned at Schodack Town Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, a $10,000 bond or a $25,000 partially secured bond.
