DELHI, NY — A woman was served with a criminal summons on charges of welfare fraud Feb. 19.
Elizabeth W. Tosten, 35, of Bainbridge, New York, was summoned by the Delhi Village Police Department.
The summons directs Tosten to appear in Delhi Town Court to answer charges of Welfare Fraud in the 3rd Degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the 1st Degree.
The charges were filed by investigators with the Delaware County Department of Social Services following an investigation into alleged fraudulent activity.
Tosten is scheduled to appear in the Town of Delhi Court on March 19, 2026.
