Two arrested on drug trafficking charges in Hermon

HERMON, ME — The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Crogan Road on March 25, 2026, seizing approximately half a kilogram of illegal drugs.

The Special Response Team served the warrant at approximately 1:30 p.m. following a multi-month investigation by a deputy assigned to the town who was investigating drug trafficking from the residence.

Deputies located methamphetamine, crack cocaine and fentanyl inside the residence.

Chad Langley, 33, of Hermon, was charged with aggravated unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs, unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs and unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.

Daquan Moore, 30, of Brooklyn, New York, was charged with aggravated unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs and unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs.

Shelly Perry, 54, was also arrested on warrants for failing to appear.

Both Langley and Moore were brought to the Penobscot County Jail.

The operation utilized K-9 Memphis and received assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Hermon Fire Department.
