SPRING VALLEY, NY — Three men have been arrested in connection with a knifepoint robbery that occurred in late January.
The Spring Valley Police Department received a report of a robbery that occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2026, in the area of 50 South Main Street.
The victim reported being assaulted at knifepoint by three unknown males, during which two gold chains were forcibly taken.
The victim sustained injuries to the face and neck.
Following an investigation by the Detective Bureau, three suspects were identified and arrested.
Dario Hernandez-Vasquez, 32, of Spring Valley, was arrested Feb. 10, 2026.
Santiago T. Tzalam, 46, of Spring Valley, was arrested March 24, 2026.
Martin D. Campos-Veliz, 37, of the Bronx, was arrested March 24, 2026.
All three were charged with multiple counts of robbery in the first degree and robbery in the second degree.
Campos-Veliz was additionally charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Each defendant was arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Justice Court and remanded to the Rockland County Jail on bail of $10,000 cash, $50,000 bond, or $100,000 partially secured bond.
